Disclaimer

GovDoorCheck is an independent education tool published by CLEARDEAL LLC. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to the United States government, the General Services Administration, the Small Business Administration, or the Department of Defense in any way.

The checker, the decoder, and the line summarize published rules — principally FAR 2.101 (thresholds), FAR 52.219-14 (limitations on subcontracting), FAR 52.215-23 (pass-through charges), and 13 CFR Parts 121, 124, 126, 127, and 128 (size standards and the 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, and SDVOSB programs) — in plain language. They were checked against the official sources on October 29, 2026. Rules change; the government's own pages are always the source of truth, and nothing on this site replaces them.

No result on this site is a decision. The SBA decides certifications; contracting officers decide awards; SAM.gov holds your registration dates. A checker result that says you "pass a screen" means your answers match the published test — it is not an approval, and a certification row that reads closed is a screen result, not a ruling on your business. HUBZone results are snapshots of a map that changes; eligibility is judged on the map at the date of an offer.

The Middleman Line reads published subcontracting rules against a structure you describe. It is not legal advice, it is not a guarantee, and it will never tell you a structure "is legal" — the contracting officer and SBA judge the real contract.

Nothing here is legal, tax, or accounting advice. If your situation involves a live bid, a protest, or a dispute, consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction — or start with the free counselors at APEX Accelerators (apexaccelerators.us).
